Today's Mortgage Rates by State – Oct. 4, 2024

The states with the lowest 30-year new purchase mortgage rates Wednesday were California, Florida, Hawaii, North Carolina, Texas, and Washington State. The six states registered averages between 6.18% and 6.26%.
